Well, I wanted to share something a bit different, my first SUP race!! I decided that I wanted to give it a go and signed up for the 37th addition Paddle and Portage Race in Madison, WI and gave it a go. It was tough and the portage about did me in, but was a blast and finished in great spirits, would have liked to do it a bit faster, but for the first time out, had a wonderful time. Need to get in better shape for that portage though, haha!!
Here are a few pics that Liz took and she was a big help walking with me on the portage, not sure I would have made it up the hill with out her there just to talk to, thank you Liz!!!!
