I had the opportunity this year to work with the David Lynch MFA-DLMFA program on their Web/TV series as the Fall Semester Supervising Editor/Lead Editor. It was a great time working with 7 MFA Student Writer/Directors helping to create their vision and put it together for the first time on screen. Can't wait to see how it all turns out from the script to the final screen!! Nice work to all!!!

I was going through some photos from the past few months and came across a few shots that wife wife took while she was visiting her folks in the North Woods, WI and wanted to share. I am very proud and inspired by the images she's takes, she really has a wonderful feel for finding and taking these beautiful images and there are truly to few images from her, we have got to do something about this...

A few pics from the harvest shots we got on our way home from the Mill shoot. Nothing like October in the Midwest, when the corn slowly disappears, the colors are out and the crip fall air brings on the stews, chili and cold weather clothes! The perfect time of year in the Midwest!!!
We had a great shoot last week at the old Pine Creek Grist Mill, and on the way home, were lucky enough to run into some great farmers who let us fly around and get some footage of the corn harvest. Was a great day of shooting, so wanted to post a few pics to share.
Fall is going quick so hoping to get a few more days of of shooting before the color is gone for the year and the snow begins to fall!!!
We had a great Labor Day Weekend, shooting in Southern Iowa for a TV series that will come out in 2018. It was a great shoot, windy conditions made it tough, but went really well and got some great stuff. We had the great opportunity to work with a fantastic client from overseas, and can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with them, so open and excited about the story, it really was a pleasure!
Can't say much about the series, but I will say it will be a wonderful story with fantastic images from all over the world and we loved being apart of it here in Iowa, can't wait until it airs!!
Well, I wanted to share something a bit different, my first SUP race!! I decided that I wanted to give it a go and signed up for the 37th addition Paddle and Portage Race in Madison, WI and gave it a go. It was tough and the portage about did me in, but was a blast and finished in great spirits, would have liked to do it a bit faster, but for the first time out, had a wonderful time. Need to get in better shape for that portage though, haha!!

I wanted to share a new UAS/Drone promo that I just finished messing around with, using a few of our UAS shots from the past year. I am pleased with how it turned out and think it gives a nice feel of some of the different shot types we do and have been working with in this new platform. Each episode is short around 8-10 min. so great watching when you have a few min. and looking for something interesting about the passion and industry of Craft Brews!

Just finished up working on a Intro Logo design for a new Web/TV series about the Craft Beverage Revolution, take a look at the new design and keep your eyes posted for links and info on the upcoming series. Had a wonderful week in WI, Climbing, Paddling, Camping and getting some great shots when we could. We spent time at Devils Lake and Paddled the Lower Kickapoo River, what a trip and the river paddle was all that we wanted and more, can't want to get back up there and do the rest of the Kickapoo, what a river, just beautiful!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jamie awhile back on a promo graphic design spot for his "Great Conversation" about the state of Public Education in our country, based on his book "Schools Cannot Do It Alone". Recently Jamie finished shooting the first of his many sit-down conversations about the state of our public schools and where we are headed and what we can do to help this great public endeavor. I am currently working on the first video and soon Jaime will have it out for the educational ranks in this country and I am sure he will be back at it, working on the next videos that will follow up on his great conversation. I hope everyone will get a chance to view and learn more about our school systems and our public education in this country. Trust me you will love it and learn a lot!!

We are excited to let you know that we worked on another campaign with Keg Tools to create 3 different short form spots for them at the end of 2015. We also worked with them to create web video content to accompany the spots airing nationally come the end of Jan. So keep an eye out for these great spots and wonderful products! Kreg is truly a wonderful family oriented company. Can't tell you enough how much of a pleasure it is to work with such a fantastic company and after working on Long form and short form commercials for them over the past years and learning more and more about the company, I just want to say, thank you and looking forward to working with Kreg Tools again in the future!
Well a new venture awaits. We recently purchased a Professional Quadcopter and ready to see what this new adventure will bring. It has been quite awhile since I have been behind the camera and couldn't think a a better and more exciting way to get back into it, then operating a Quad and shooting from the sky. There will be much more to come, I am sure of it, but for now a quick pic of the BigBird and myself, on our inaugural flight, say tuned for pics and videos...
The word is out, heading to Alaska to work with the UC Gold Rush Doc Team on the 2015 Expedition Alaska Adventure Race. This will be an epic race in one of the most incredible place you can think of, I can't wait. Will be heading up the end of June and will be travel around and cutting out in the field, getting media managed and what ever else comes my way.
Can't wait to pack up the office and head out for a few weeks and work out in the open air of Alaska, experiencing the race first hand and what these racers endure is truly amazing to see. keep an eye out around the net for updates and info on the race, check out the links above and don't for get to check back here to the site, I will be posting images, links and info as time permits.
You will truly be amazed at the challenges that these incredible men and women take on from day to day, and hopefully I will get to share some footage, pics and info of a little of what goes on behind the scenes as well.
